ABOUT US
Ty Rhos Trees is located on our smallholding, nestled in the foothills of the Preselis, close to the coast and boundaried by ancient Celtic rainforest. We began growing native trees from seed here in 1982 and, as the trees flourished, so did we - eventually becoming the main supplier to the Pembrokeshire National Park.
Today we stock one of the widest varieties of native, ornamental, specimen and fruit trees in the UK, alongside shrubs and hedging plants. Our years of experience mean we know a thing or two about the right plant, for the right place and proper care and maintenance and so we encourage all customers to ask if they need help or advice.
Our offering may have grown but we are still a small family business and that is important to us because it keeps our relationships personal , our costs down and our prices fair. The result is that we do business the old way, either in person or by return phone call when we have time to listen to messages.

Justine Hackney, a regular customer
"Ty Rhos is a special place. I don't know whether it's the sheer variety of trees, the obvious passion that has gone into creating every square inch of the place, or the location that make it so magical.
The literal translation of the Welsh saying, 'Dod yn ôl at fy nghoed' is 'to return to your trees' but its actual meaning is to return to a balanced state of mind. A visit to Ty Rhos perfectly embodies that. It's an enchantment that leaves you feeling gloriously peaceful and usually with more than you intended to buy because it's an absolute treasure trove of beauty."
